Media Advisory: Video and photo opportunities State Treasurer Clint Zweifel to install and demonstrate Unclaimed Property Search Kiosk at O’Fallon License Office on Wednesday, May 16

State Treasurer Clint Zweifel (ZWY-ful) will be at the O’Fallon Department of Revenue License Office to install and demonstrate his Unclaimed Property Search Kiosk for the media on Wednesday, May 16 from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The License Office is at 2421 Highway K.
The Unclaimed Property Search Kiosk makes the O’Fallon License Office a one-stop shop, allowing individuals to renew their driver’s license or license plates and claim any Unclaimed Property. Developed by Treasurer Zweifel, this kiosk was previously in Columbia, Mo. O’Fallon is the third city is Missouri to house a kiosk. Another kiosk is in Joplin, Mo.
Nearly $700 million in Unclaimed Property is waiting to be claimed by more than 4.3 million account owners. In the St. Louis region alone there is $207 million in 1.2 million accounts.
